6th Annual CFA Institute Research Challenge (Finals): Charles Schwab

Abstract

Our team achieved 3rd place in the regional CFA Institute Research Challenge held in Colorado among 6 teams. This project researched and scrutinized the common equity of Charles Schwab (SCHW) and provided a "Sell" recommendation over the next 12 months. All other teams recommended a "Hold" or "Buy."

My particular was aggregating all data and formulating cogent analyses.

Of note: while we did not win the competition, our team was the only team whose recommendation provided a positive return by the time winners were announced.
